Soldier. Scientist. Shaman.

Walking three very different paths was the catalyst for a multidimensional approach to healing for myself, that I can now offer to you.

We are never called to more than we can handle. But sometimes we need help. My healing journey, or spiritual awakening, began in 2013.

Up to that point, I felt I had an enchanted life. I had traveled the world and learned Korean language and culture as a translator in the Army. I studied biochemistry in college and had developed an appreciation for the beauty and mystery of the natural world. I practiced meditation and yoga regularly, and had tried various religions like Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism and Wicca.

But there was a lot of trauma in my life that I needed to address: being raised by a parent with severe mental illness, serving in combat in Iraq, and chronic liver disease. As I began treatment and counseling, I still felt something was missing.

I remember telling my counselor during a session, “I feel like I have stepped onto a spiritual path, but I don’t know what to do next. I need teachers! Where are my teachers?”

A few years later I moved up to Seattle, Washington. Within a year, three different friends had told me about the same shamanic healing course. I signed up and came to class curious, skeptical, and knowing nothing about shamanism.

A quote by Carl Jung was on the board: “The symbol is the mechanism which transforms the unconscious.” I knew I needed transformation. And as the year progressed, I learned I had a gift for shamanic practice, and began to recognize the signs and symbols along my path as divine guidance. I discovered that the natural world, which had always been a source of wonder for me, was speaking to me.

I finally knew how to listen.

A gift is only meaningful once it is given.

Serving as an intermediary between the physical and spiritual realms, I’m honored to help you see your intuitive gifts, connect to the natural world, and stretch into new realms.
